Welcome to the Parents’ Association

Douglas Community School Parents  Association represents parents and guardians in formulating school policy along with the Board of Management, Principal, staff and students. It is affiliated to PACCS (Parents Association of Community and Comprehensive Schools).

The Association plays a very important role in the life of the school. Our Parents  Association usually meets once a month with a staff representative present. These meetings provide parents with a voice, hearing first hand about new developments and the progress of the school. It is also a great opportunity for parents to meet other parents in a social setting.

Currently, the Parents Association are planning a uniform swap and are looking into the further development of student recreation areas.

The PA always welcomes new members. We appreciate feedback or any questions you may have. Uniquely in DCS, the Parents Association is not a fundraising body so don’t be afraid to get involved!

You may contact the Parents’ Association committee at parentsdcs@gmail.com.

Please include your name, your child’s name, his year in school and your contact details with any correspondence. Your details will only be used to provide you with feedback.
