Une Semaine Inoubliable à Cork Pour Les Élèves du Lycée Jean Macé de Rennes

On Wednesday the 18th of March, we welcomed 30 French students from Lycée Jean Macé in Rennes to Cork.  They brought the Breton sun with them and enjoyed a wonderful week visiting various local landmarks such as Shandon Bells and Tower, Cork City Gaol, U.C.C. and Cobh.  They also attended a hurling match between Cork and Offaly at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Students participated in several classes with their Irish students, they particularly enjoyed a History class with Mr. Daithí O’ Leary and a class learning some basic Irish phrases with Ms. Grace O’ Reilly.  On their last evening in Cork, all 30 of the French students spent an evening with their Irish hosts learning some céilí dances.  The French students thoroughly enjoyed their week in Cork and are now looking forward to welcoming their Irish students in Rennes at the end of April and introducing them to leur belle ville et la culture bretonne et française. 

Une semaine inoubliable à Cork pour les élèves du Lycée Jean Macé de Rennes et leurs professeurs.  Nous avons hâte de nous retrouver à Rennes dans un mois.
