Top Of The Rock TY Gaisce Trip - A Highlight Of The Year

Our Transition Year students recently completed their Bronze Gaisce Award through their Adventure Journey. As part of the experience they took on a challenging 25km hike across the Castledonovan Loop and Mullaghmesha, enjoyed an overnight stay at Top of the Rock and demonstrated their independence by preparing their own meals.

Throughout the trip students explored local heritage sites, spent time caring for farm animals and rounded off the evenings by toasting marshmallows around the campfire.
