DCS Support and Run with the FTD Brothers
DCS were honoured and delighted to get out and support the FTD Brothers on marathon 23 out of 33 of their Marathon Challenge around Ireland to raise awareness for dementia. Both Adams brothers, Jordan and Cian, carry the gene relating to Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) and they have embarked on an incredible challenge to raise awareness and funds.
Some of our students got the opportunity to run with the lads and were thrilled to be part of such an inspiring cause. Well done Mr McElligott for organising the DCS runners (Daniel Peare, Eoin Herlihy, David Hunter, Noah Kelleher, Sam O’Connor, Conor Hughes, Oran Power and Sean Harrington). Well done to our Yr1 students who offered vocal support too!
