French Exchange Students Receive A Warm DCS Welcome

We were delighted to welcome our French Exchange students from Lycée Jean Macé, Rennes at the beginning of April.  They enjoyed a wonderful week in Cork where they attended classes in school, learned a little Irish and participated in a traditional Céilí.  

The Jean Macé students visited some of our Junior classes to talk to them about Rennes and French culture as well as helping our Senior students prepare for their Oral exam.

The students visited famous local landmarks such as Nano Nagle Place, Shandon Bells and Tower, Cork Prison and Cobh.  

Lifelong friendships have been forged amongst the Irish and French students as well as a better understanding of and appreciation for Irish and French culture.  Thanks to Ms Moylan for organising the experience…..Vive l’amitié 🇮🇪🇫🇷
