DCS Crowned Senior Schools Cup Volleyball Champions

DCS Senior Volleyball ended their season on a high note claiming the Senior Schools Cup title with a decisive win over CMM Galway in Dublin on Friday.

From the first serve DCS showed exactly why they are the reigning All-Ireland champions, taking control early and powering through the opening set with a dominant 25-9 scoreline. CMM responded strongly in the second set, pushing hard and taking an early lead. However, showing great composure and teamwork, DCS battled back to edge ahead and take the second and third set. 

Overall it was a superb all-round team performance which showcased the skill and determination of the squad on display all season. The win was made even more significant as it marked the final game for six dedicated sixth year students who finished their school volleyball careers on the highest possible note. A huge congratulations to all involved and their coach Ms Orla Maher.
