DCS Christmas Carol Service 🎄

Christmas would not be complete in DCS without our annual uplifting Carol service. Bustling activity opened our service this year with the arrival of our ‘BBC’ reporter from Gaza rushing to give us an update on contemporary happenings there while Mary, the mother of Jesus, was also anxious to have her say.

The ceremony focused on the overarching theme of trust and our students, reading from the Gospel of Luke, shared the enormity of the risk Mary took on with the birth of Jesus. Our choir and musicians added to the festivities and the symbol bearers brought gold, frankincense and myrrh to the crib. 

Accomplished musicians and our beautiful choir added joy and hope to the event with beautiful renditions of traditional Christmas Carols including “O Holy Night” and “Fairytale Of New York”.  The commitment and enthusiasm of our talented students and teachers has to be commended for making this such a special occasion.
