Congratulations To DCS Senior Debating Team
The DCS debating team took part in the second round of the ACCS competition when facing Ballincollig Community School. Tasked with opposing the motion, “This House would introduce Universal Basic Income in Ireland,” the team rose admirably to the challenge.
Despite the difficulty of the topic DCS delivered clear, confident arguments and engaged strongly in a lively debate. After a closely contested and energetic exchange DCS emerged victorious which reflected their preparation, teamwork and debating skill.
