Climate Science comes to Life at DCS!

Our 5th Year Climate Action and Sustainable Development class enjoyed a workshop with Irish Fossils last week.

Students explored how ice cores and fossil evidence reveal past climate change. They learned about methane as a powerful greenhouse gas, how melting permafrost releases trapped methane, and how changes in North Atlantic ocean circulation influence our climate.

A big thank you to Dr. Panagiotis Sianis and the UCC team for visiting us!
