DCS was alive with Christmas cheer last week as the Transition Year Show SPIDEREILE took to the stage.

It’s definitely beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in DCS. Our school has been transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland.

The Christmas Community spirit is alive in DCS again this time of year.

Architectural challenges, chromatography, Irish dancing, mixed martial arts, yoga, drama and even the world of Charlie Chaplin!

In DCS, September is a month of “New Beginnings”. On the one hand, we welcome our new 1st yr students, eager with anticipation, nerves and excitement as they start their new journey in secondary school.

DCS Gradam na Scoile was a fitting celebration to acknowledge and reward the achievements of our students. A very fine group of students, who represent what is best here in DCS were singled out from their peers and invited to an awards ceremony.

After a hiatus of two years due to the pandemic, our Transition Years made a welcome return to the stage.

In March this year, there was a tremendous school response to help the victims of the war in Ukraine.

Work has finally begun on the long awaited pedestrian and cycle link over the N40 motorway between Grange/Frankfield and Tramore Valley Park.
