Primary School Lab Visits for Science Week 🔬 🧫

As part of Science Week celebrations DCS were delighted to welcome local primary school students into our Biology and Chemistry laboratories for a hands-on exploration of science in action.

In Biology students learned how to use microscopes to observe their own cheek cells before discovering the fascinating structures of different bacteria. In Chemistry they investigated exciting reactions using baking soda and vinegar at varying concentrations before conducting colourful flame tests with metal salts.

It was a wonderful opportunity to inspire young minds, spark curiosity and share the excitement of scientific discovery!
