Innovative Chair Making Workshop For TY Students

Our Transition Year students recently engaged in an in-school chair making workshop led by Tiktok star Eoin Reardon. Across the day, over 40 of our students worked on various parts of a Leitrim chair, using only traditional hand tools. They learned about the history of this style of chair, ash dieback in Ireland and the origins of the tools being used. An informative, hands-on day had by all!
