Happy Christmas To All ๐
Dear School Community,
As the term draws to a close, I want to wish every member of our school community a
peaceful and restful Christmas.
This season can be joyful, but it can also be difficult for some, especially those missing loved
ones. We keep these families in our thoughts and send them our care and support.
I would like to extend heartfelt thanks to our staff โ teachers, SNAs, secretarial, caretaking,
and support teams โ for your dedication, care, and professionalism every day. Your work
has a profound impact on our students and the warm atmosphere of our school.
To our parents and guardians, thank you for your support, encouragement, and trust. Your
partnership with the school makes a real difference in your childrenโs lives.
To our students, thank you for your energy, humour, resilience, and contribution to school
life. You make this school a vibrant and welcoming place.
To our local community and organisations, thank you for your generosity, involvement, and
enthusiasm. Your support helps us provide experiences that enrich our studentsโ lives and
strengthens the wider Douglas community we are proud to be part of.
Christmas is a chance to slow down and reconnect. I hope the coming days bring moments of
shared meals, laughter, board games (and the inevitable friendly disagreements!), and time
together away from screens. These simple, human connections are often the most memorable
and valuable.
May this Christmas bring rest, warmth, and time with those who matter most, and may the
New Year ahead be healthy, happy, and full of promise for everyone in our school community.
Warmest wishes,
Pat Barry
Principal
