Free Parent Webinars: Supporting Teenagers’ Wellbeing

Parents and guardians are invited to take part in two free online webinars taking place next week, focusing on important issues that can have a significant impact on teenagers’ wellbeing, mental health and school attendance.

The webinars will explore how parents can support their teenagers in navigating social exclusion and developing healthy sleep habits.

Supporting Your Teen When They’re Feeling Socially Excluded

Tuesday, 10th November @ 7.00pm

Does Your Teenager Struggle with Their Sleep?
Thursday, 12th November @ 7.00pm

Recent research highlights the importance of addressing these issues, with 38% of 15–16-year-olds reporting that they have experienced rejection by their friends, while 55% are not getting enough sleep.

Both social exclusion and poor sleep can have a considerable impact on young people’s overall wellbeing and their ability to engage fully in school life.

These webinars will provide parents and guardians with practical advice, useful information and strategies to help support their teenagers in these areas.

There will also be an opportunity to submit questions in advance by email or through the chat facility during the webinars.

Both webinars are completely free of charge.

We would encourage parents and guardians to take advantage of these valuable opportunities to learn more about supporting their teenagers’ wellbeing.
