🏳️‍🌈 Stand Up Awareness Week 2025 at DCS 🏳️‍🌈

This week our school community proudly took part in Stand Up Awareness Week 2025 celebrating inclusion, kindness and support for our LGBTQ+ community. To mark the occasion students and staff joined together in a range of colourful and meaningful initiatives:

  • Our Kindness Board invited students and teachers to share messages of positivity and support.

  • The doorframe beside the canteen was painted in vibrant rainbow colours, symbolising welcome and acceptance for all.

  • Staff showed their solidarity by wearing rainbow armbands and taking part in a Rainbow Jumper Day on Friday.

A special mention goes to our ACS class, who baked a beautiful rainbow layer cake to share the message of inclusion through creativity and teamwork.

A huge thank you to everyone who participated and helped make our school a more inclusive and caring community. The events are a simple way to show that our school stands for respect, friendship and equality for all and that spreading a bit of kindness really makes a difference! . 🌈💛
