DCS Athletes To The Fore In Cork Schools Cross Country 🏃‍♂️🥇

Our DCS Athletics Club delivered a fantastic set of performances at the Cork Schools Introductory Cross Country event in Riverstick, earning an impressive seven medals across the three races.

In the 1st Year 1km race, Daniel Peare secured a medal with a strong run. The 2nd/3rd Year 2km race saw a brilliant haul of four medals thanks to Adam Ahern, Eoin Herlihy, David Hunter, and Harry Carroll.

Meanwhile, in the 4th/5th/6th Year 2km event, Mieszko Kalinowski and Joshua Healy added two more medals to complete the club’s superb tally.

The team showed outstanding determination, teamwork and talent throughout the day.

Next up is the South Munsters Cross Country after Christmas where our athletes will look to build on this excellent start to the season.
