Business Classes Visit Impressive Apple HQ

Transition Year and 5th Year students were warmly welcomed by Apple at their European Headquarters in Hollyhill. Students enjoyed an engaging presentation on Apple’s 45 years in Cork, learning how the company has grown from 60 employees in 1980 to over 6,000 today. They also had the chance to explore the impressive facilities and take part in activities using the latest technology.

A highlight of the visit was a panel discussion with Apple employees, who spoke openly about their career paths and experiences in the tech industry.

We were especially proud of Economics students Niall O’Flynn, Odhrán Brennan, Diyar Muhsinoglu, and Dáithí O'Brien-Jackson, who prepared and presented a financial case study on the economic and environmental benefits of refurbishing iPhones to the standard of new devices.
