All Ireland Indoor Rowing Championship

On Saturday the 17th of January our DCS Rowing team travelled to the University of Limerick to compete in the All Ireland Indoor Rowing championships. Facing the best opposition in Ireland the squad were fully aware that it would be a real challenge. All the rowers put on stellar performances, smashing personal records and going down to the wire with the best in Ireland.

Many congratulations to the 2nd year relay team consisting of Tommy Murphy, Sam O’Connor, Micky O’Callaghan and Ethan Keohane who emerged as the 3rd best relay team in the country. A special well done to all the first years who competed in their second event for the school and represented the school with great pride and dedication. A final thank you to the coaches Eoin Kilgour, Bobby Heffernan, Cillian Casey, Callum Corbett and Cathal Murphy who supported the team throughout the preparations for this event.
