DCS Athletes Represent Ireland in Malta
Douglas Community School will represent Ireland at the World Schools Cross-Country Championships in Malta in March. A seven-man team from the school will travel to the prestigious event for u17s which is only held every two years. Douglas Community School finished fifth at the event in 2010. Congratulations to the team on their selection.

Uganda Project 2011
Through the Worldwise Development Organisation, Douglas Community School is twinned with Cardinal Nsubuga Secondary School in Jinja, Uganda. The project began last year with teachers from both schools visiting each other in an exploratory visit.
