DCS School Tour 2010
This year Douglas Community School travelled to Jasna in Slovakia for a week of skiing during the February mid term break. Mixed Success for DCS Athletes at CIT
Douglas Community School athletes had an up and down day at the All-Ireland Schools Cross-Country Championships held at Cork Institute of Technology. Students Open DCS School Bank
Six fifth year students have recently opened a school bank. The bank will be run by Jack Newton (Manager), Nikesh Chopra (assistant Manager), Conor Dowling (Auditor), Aidan Heffernan (Marketing), Gary Black (Teller) and Aaron Hurley (Teller) and is co-ordinated by Mr Alan White. The teachers of Douglas Community School French Department organised a special treat for students recently. Classes were brought for a French breakfast, where the menu and interactions were all en Francais.
