Another Win For The Douglas Community School U14 Gaelic Football Team
The under 14s stormed to another great win last Friday when they beat
Carraignavar. It proved to be an easy victory in the end even though they
had a few early scares when Carraignavar’s full forward scored two early
goals.
Peter Milan and others made sure of the result before half time.
It was a very one sided game in the second half and good performances from
Paul Beale and Stephen Murphy in particular made sure that there wasn't
going to be a surprise comeback.
It’s looking good for the under 14s so far with three wins out of three
but the crunch game against St. Aidan’s is still to come. They still have
got work to do but if they keep their performances up, they will definitely
have a great chance of bringing the title back to Douglas.
